• Assist students, faculty, and staff in using the library’s technology resources
• Maintain the library’s website and provide additional content as needed
• Keep abreast of technology trends as they relate to academic libraries
• Manage and update library computers including determining the optimal versions, programs, and editions to run and troubleshooting issues
• Research free or low cost presentation tools and conduct presentations with faculty, staff, and students to showcase these technologies
• Provide reference/research assistance to library patrons
• Collaborate with Elmhurst College Office of Information Services to offer a print management system to lower printing costs/reduce waste in the library
• Created singular function stations (scanning, library catalog search, etc) using fully depreciated computers to expand the availability of newer computers
• Spearheaded project to acquire and setup dual boot Mac Mini Computers in the library
• Created the proposal for the modernization of library study rooms with new audio/video equipment while keeping costs low and using space efficiently
